Happy Wednesday Chino!!!
One of the first things I learned when I moved to Chino was to never confuse Chino vs. Chino Hills… Ever made this rookie move too?😆

jokes only, we’re just built different. we love all our sister towns 🫶🏽
But in the end, we all fam.
As always, today we’re gonna cover events & updates from 91708, 91709, 91710 and beyond. One big thing upcoming soon? Some of our kiddos in Legacy Academy are going back to school (*sigh of relief from Track D parents😮💨*)
In this issue we have:
The not-so peaceful “Eden” development & other community updates
Recap of our first Night Market
…and as always, your weekend event guide.
Let’s get into it.

True to the name, this newsletter loves to highlight food, especially if it comes from a cart. The Chino Night Market opening night was a great success. If you missed it, it’s held Fridays 5-10 pm at 📍 Chino Town Square, 5459 Philadelphia Square. Watch the recap here, and follow our Instagram if you haven’t yet! Tag us with #thechinochew for a feature.
Here’s what else happened in Chino last week, in 60 seconds or less:
🏗 Eden Development, a 9.82 acre project with 20,800 sqft of retail, 264 multi-family units, and 132,000+ sqft of self-storage, was green lit by the city after a much heated debate that has been going on.
🍅 Galleria Market opened in Chino Hills, 4050 Chino Hills Pkway, Chino Hills. Stop by for your Asian grocery needs, and enjoy the opening perks.
🏪 If you’re a local business or organization, start gearing up for the Halloween Spooktacular hosted by the City of Chino. Sign up on their website to host a booth.
🎇28,000 lbs of fireworks were confiscated by the SB Taskforces. More than 100 citations issued.

(this is an unsponsored post. don’t worry, you will always know when it’s sponsored)
I know we’re only wrapping up July and we have just a little bit more until summer fades. But I’m a sucker for fall as the anticipation for the Holidays build.
Well guess who already has their fall decor out and on a deal?! Hobby Lobby. It’s like Michaels and HomeGoods had a baby, then added some Kohl’s prices. It also has Back to School supplies on sale, rejoice parents & teachers ✏

look at all this fun fall decor & school supplies on sale!!!
