Three days until Valentine’s Day.
Hi, Chino Valley. Three days until Lots of Chocolate Day. That's either plenty of time or absolutely not enough, depending on how you celebrate Valentine’s.

Either way, we got you — we've rounded up some date ideas, sweet treats, and things to do even if romance isn't your vibe this weekend. I actually celebrate it by going to the fresh fish market. Long story.
Let's get into it.

Casa Diaz Mexican — Chino, CA
Modern Mexican Food in a fancy vibe? Yes Please.

When we visited Casa Diaz, it was an unassuming Tuesday afternoon. As soon as we stepped in, however, we realized the quiet exterior was hiding the two birthday parties, Taco Tuesday specials, and great vibes within!
We were a party of three, but we ordered not one, not two, not three… but FOUR orders of the fish taco duos because they were that good. Surprisingly for a Mexican restaurant (and not a cafe), the afternoon coffee we ordered to top off the meal was also very balanced!
It’s already a local favorite, so if you haven’t visited, check them out & let us know your thoughts!
📍 7041 Schaefer Ave, Chino, CA 91710

The Chino Chew Dinner Club is Back — with a Global Twist

In partnership with Distrofino
The Chino Chew Dinner Club: Global Charcuterie Edition is your passport for the evening. Join us at Argonza Cellars for a guided luxury wine tasting paired with globally sourced charcuterie—designed to highlight how wine and food travel together.
Expect thoughtful pairings like a Bordeaux-style blend alongside aged Gouda, Manchego Reserva, Spanish chorizo, bresaola, fig jam, and Marcona almonds (if you don’t know most of these words, it’s the perfect reason to attend!). Such delicacies will be followed by a silky Merlot matched with triple-cream brie, Fromage d’Affinois (creamy French cheese), lavender honey, cornichons, and cherries. And this is just a small example of what you might enjoy that night! Each pairing is curated to highlight balance, texture, and how wine and food shine together.
For those looking to level up, optional luxury tastings will be available on-site, including ultra-limited selections like Rogue River Blue cheese ($80+/lb) and Wagyu bresaola ($70+/lb), offered as an add-on experience. These are difficult to procure globally, but you can have it right in your backdoor in Chino.
This is a relaxed, social night meant for curious palates, shared tables, and discovering global flavors—no wine expertise required, just an appetite.
🎟 Tickets: Only 25 available at $49.75
✨ Optional luxury tastings: +$15 (available at the event)
