Welcome back, Chewies!

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving break. Christmas feels that much closer, though it hasn’t gotten cold enough for me for yet.

how i smile when my aunt tells me ive gained weight at the family gathering

I went Christmas ornament shopping the other day to Homegoods, but all I found were these Rachel Zoe ornaments that shed way too much glitter. Yayyyy microplastics. Ever since becoming a parent, my tolerance for glitter in the home has decreased, though I love them from a distance.

Only three weeks left till Christmas 🎄.

Let’s get into it.

Here are some things that happened around us, in 128 seconds or less (does anyone check the seconds?):

THE CHEW DINNER CLUB COMING SOON… but with a TWIST 🌪

We’re launching The Chew Dinner Club in 2026. But it has a little twist! I hate boring dinners.

Here’s how it works:

✦︎ You take a short personality quiz about your interests, food preferences, and what you’re like — do you like to lead conversations, or do you like to hear everyone first? Are you looking for just friends, or also romance? That kind of thing.

✦︎ Get matched with five other Dinner Club members based on the quiz results.

✦︎ Receive your invite the morning of the dinner and discover which restaurant in Chino Valley your group will be eating at.

✦︎ Half way through the dinner, all tables from all over town will get an invite to a single designated spot to keep the fun going! This afterparty is optional, so you can stop by and grab a drink, or you can go home for an early bedtime 😌

✦︎ Logistics: My goal for the Dinner Club? Stress-free for you. I’ll put everything together from the quiz, to the matching, reservations, reminders, and even the afterparty coordination. All you have to do is book your seat for $15, pay for your food (or split it with your new friends!), show up, and have fun.

We’ll start small with 40 seats in January. If folks like it, we’ll keep it going, and we’ll open up other cities like Pomona, Rancho, or Diamond Bar. Don’t worry, we won’t send you somewhere that is too far from you, unless you want to.

COMING JANUARY 2026!

🚗 WIN A FREE CAR DETAIL!🫧

wait to see how sparkly the interior gets

Chino Valley, meet Eric and Cesar. They are two high school seniors from Diamond Ranch High School. They started a mobile car detailing business, Ferreira Auto Shine, to raise money for college — isn’t that amazing?!

Look at how sparkly the cars are. They cleaned my car and honestly the amount of cracker crumbs they got from the crevices was enough to make a crumble topping on my Thanksgiving pie. They’re also fully mobile, which means you get to sit at home, relax, or carry on with your busy day as your car gets cleaned.

For the Holidays, they’re giving away ONE FREE FULL EXTERIOR & INTERIOR CAR DETAIL for any type of car. All you have to do is put your name in the hat by filling out the form below. We’ll announce the winner in a few weeks. Even if you don’t win, consider booking them to boost their college fund. Their prices are super reasonable, with sedans starting just at $55. You can text or call: 909-436-6028. Check out their Instagram here.

Extra Curds

Does your car insurance cover what really matters?

Not all car insurance is created equal. Minimum liability coverage may keep you legal on the road, but it often won’t be enough to cover the full cost of an accident. Without proper limits, you could be left paying thousands out of pocket. The right policy ensures you and your finances are protected. Check out Money’s car insurance tool to find the coverage you actually need.

That’s it for this week! If you enjoyed this issue, send this to a friend who always wants to DIY Christmas decor.

As always, you can DM us on Instagram (@thechinochew), or say hello at [email protected]

Have a great weekend, Chino! 😎
