Hello Chino Valley,
We’re officially half way through January.
It’s the weird time in commerce where Christmas decor is on clearance and Valentine’s decor is on full blast. It’s like they can’t let January just be January on its own.
In other non-Chino Valley news, the 2026 Golden Globes were held. The best moment was seeing Leo’s sassy personality. This is the energy we’re taking into the issue this week — we got lots going on, sure enough to get you chatting with your neighbor just like Leo.

Leo is so excited about this week’s Chew issue
Correction: Last week, the event dates were correct, but the days were wrong. We sent in a correction on the web, but your emails couldn’t be fixed. We’re sorry for the confusion; we’ll keep striving to provide accurate info.
Reader Appreciation: Thank you Tricia G. for sending contributions for the Chew! 💓
Let’s get into it.

Here are some things that happened around us, in 60 seconds or less.

2026 Partnership Slots Now Open

The Chew runs on community.
Our readers provide feedback on what they want to see, and we in turn provide trusted, honest recommendations. But we need business partners to keep this going.
We're looking for 7 local businesses to partner with us for 2026.
This means your business gets exclusive access to the most coveted spots within the newsletter — to highlight your business, run your promotions and deals, and gain true visibility within the Chino Valley.
Think social media on steroids, where readers actually find you. No more getting buried in the feed or being at the whim of the ever-fickle algorithm gods.
Once these 7 spots are filled, they're gone for the year.
Interested? Reply to this email or reach out at [email protected] and tell us why locals should hear from your business.
We especially welcome trust-based industries: real estate, dental, medical, financial, insurance, senior & family care, and home services.

Your turn to write Chino Valley’s History — What are your thoughts on the Euclid Bridge?

🌉 Euclid Bridge Project Enters Public Review
The Euclid Avenue Bridge over Chino Creek—a critical corridor connecting the 60 and 71 freeways—is getting a major overhaul. The city is proposing to elevate the flood-prone bridge, widen Euclid from two to four lanes, add bicycle and pedestrian lanes, and convert the old bridge into a wildlife crossing.
Public scoping meetings are set for January 27 (in-person at The Parkhouse) and January 29 (virtual). Comments accepted through February 11.
