🏛️ Supervisor Curt Hagman did not attend this week's San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors meeting following last week's FBI search warrants. No charges have been announced, and the investigation remains under seal. The local housing market continues to stay active, with plenty of opportunities for buyers keeping an eye on Chino Valley.
As of August 3, 2026, Chino Hills has 148 homes currently on the market, with listing prices ranging from $399,000 to $4.5 million. Over the past seven days, 10 homes have sold, with sale prices between $545,000 and $1,808,000.
In Chino, there are 135 homes currently for sale, with prices ranging from $305,000 to $3.8 million. During the last week, 15 homes have sold, with final sale prices between $515,000 and $1,550,000.
If you've been thinking about buying, here's a quick reminder that one of the biggest homebuying myths is that you need a 20% down payment to get started. In reality, many loan programs require much less. Conventional loans can offer down payments as low as 3%, FHA loans start at 3.5%, eligible veterans may qualify for 100% financing through VA loans, and some buyers may even be eligible for 0% down payment assistance programs.
Even if you're not planning to buy right away, keeping track of new listings can give you a better feel for what's available in your area.
