Happy Thursday, Chino Valley!

Last Friday we had a wonderful wine tasting event at Argonza Cellars with Distrofino Gourmet Provisions.

we had a packed house! hope you can join us for our next event 🥰

Attendees got to enjoy fancy charcuterie items, and among crowd favorites were the Fabbri cherries and the Rogue River Blue Cheese — an American cheese that’s been awarded globally. It’s blue cheese, but you’d never know; it was so smooth and mild! Dipped in pear juice, wrapped in grape leaves, and aged in a cave, it was the epitome of luxury and it was fascinating to have it in Chino, of all places.

HiroNori Craft Ramen — Chino, CA.

image: chowyum

When we visited HiroNori, we were surprised how we hadn’t discovered such a hidden gem of high quality Japanese ramen. Small yet cozy, the vibe was matched with great service from the friendly staff.

We started with the pork bao buns and the cucumber crab salad, which was a promising start to the flavorful feast that would soon follow. The standard tonkotsu ramen was deep in flavor and richness, and the black garlic oil drizzle was a great touch. Usually I’m not a fan of vegan ramens, but theirs had a light flavor that was still complex and enjoyable. Lastly, the cold dipping noodle had a spicy kick that was fun and kept us going back for more!

Many have raved about this place already — give them a visit and taste for yourself!
