Together with
BrowBiz Studio & Radiant Face Aesthetics
Hello Chino Chewies,
We start this issue by letting you know that there was a brush fire that broke out near Grand Ave. in Chino Hills yesterday. Some mistakenly took it for a pre-planned fire, but Fox 11 LA and several other sources reported that it was due to a Tesla crash that quickly caused it to spread.
Evacuation orders were issued (and lifted a few hours later), and no fatalities have been reported so far. Thanks to all that sent us photos and videos immediately, helping us keep the Chew Crew informed. See a footage near the fire below:
Thank you firefighters who responded so quickly. We hope the fire is soon contained in full with no further damages! (We also heard through the grapevine that the animals that usually graze there appear to be safely rescued!)
In this issue, we continue to open the invite for IE women to our inaugural event, highlight a brand new matcha-specialty shop in town, and recap the Buzzersโ progress.
Letโs get into it.
Beauty That Still Looks Like You

Thereโs been a quiet shift lately where more people in Chino Valley and IE are finding beauty and skincare spots locally instead of automatically driving out to LA or OC. Radiant Face Aesthetics is one of those places thatโs been getting attention for offering a more personalized approach inside Aspire Salon of The Preserve.
Nicole focuses on treatments that lean more natural and regenerative first, rather than the overly dramatic look a lot of people try to avoid. She offers services like microneedling, Botox, filler, and skin rejuvenation treatments, along with a newer CO2 Alma Hybrid laser designed to help tighten skin and support collagen rebuilding.
Radiant Face is also currently offering a few new client specials, including Botox starting at $159 for the first 20 units ($12 for each additional unit) and first-time lip filler appointments for just $399. The overall experience feels thoughtful and consultation-focused, which honestly makes a difference when it comes to aesthetic treatments.
And if youโre already stopping by Aspire, BrowBiz Studio is right down the hall. Paige recently expanded into full body waxing services in addition to brow laminations, waxing, and tinting. Now that, is what I call efficient โ everything in just one place.

๐ Everyone loved it so much, we decided to open to ALL IE Women, not just Momsโฆ

Weโre also partnering with national brands that are sponsoring our event to provide gifts to the first 35 registered attendees. This is your chance to get free goodies, so bring a friend and buy your tickets!

๐ต Mont Coffee Is Worth Slowing Down For

image: yelp
Thereโs a certain type of coffee shop you walk into and immediately know youโre probably going to stay longer than planned. Mont Coffee has that kind of energy.
The new cafรฉ officially opened on May 10 and has already been getting attention for its clean modern aesthetic, friendly staff, and especially the matcha lineup. We tried the strawberry coconut matcha latte along with a few pastries, including their ham and cheese croissant, and honestly, everything tasted incredibly fresh. The matchas were smooth, creamy, and tasted noticeably high quality without being overly sweet (our video review is here).
The space itself feels calm and thoughtfully designed, the kind of spot that works equally well for a slow morning coffee run, catching up with friends, or sitting down with your laptop for a while. If youโve been looking for a new local cafรฉ to add into your routine, this one might quietly become your new favorite.

Buzzers Bring the Bats in 9โ2 Win
The Ontario Tower Buzzers have quickly become โthe buzzโ around town, and this weekโs 9โ2 win over the San Jose Giants was a pretty good example of why.
After a slow start, Ontario completely flipped the game with a huge middle-inning stretch, putting up seven runs between the 3rd and 5th innings. Easton Shelton launched a two-run homer, Emil Morales kept the offense moving with multiple extra-base hits, and Jaron Elkins turned in one of those all-around games where it felt like his name kept showing up every inning. The Buzzers finished the night with 12 hits and a lineup that never really let San Jose settle back in.
Thereโs also just something really enjoyable about the atmosphere at these games right now. It feels energetic without trying too hard, the crowd has been showing up more lately, and the teamโs been playing the kind of baseball that keeps people paying attention past the first few innings.
If youโve been looking for a local summer outing thatโs actually fun to watch, the Tower Buzzers might be worth adding to the list. Buy your game tickets below, or, join us for the upcoming Family Picnic night on July 10th โ more info to come.
